Nationale Veulenveiling Prinsjesdag is al 20 jaar een elite-veiling waar het beste veulenmateriaal van de Europese warmbloedfokkerij wordt aangeboden.
Tien jaar geleden heeft de organisatie een heel bewuste keuze gemaakt voor prestatie: het selectiebeleid is uitsluitend gericht op het selecteren van spring- en dressuurveulens uit de beste bloedlijnen van Europa. Dat er strenge eisen worden gesteld aan exterieur, ontwikkeling, maat en formaat, en beweging spreekt voor zich. Maar een mooi, sterk ontwikkeld en goed bewegend veulen uit een moederlijn waar geen sportpaarden uit voorkomen, is niet interessant in de ogen van de selectiecommissie van NVP. Met het motto de Kracht van Prestatie zijn topgenen uit bewezen moederlijnen een voorwaarde.
Nationale Veulenveiling vindt ieder jaar plaats op de derde dinsdag van september. Rond de 80 spring- en dressuurveulens, alsmede een exclusieve selectie embryo’s worden op deze vaste dag in het jaar geveild.
National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag (NVP) has been one of the trend-setting European foal auctions for 20 years. NVP has always been an elite auction, but made a well-considered choice ten years ago for sport horses: the selection policy is exclusively modelled for dressage and showjumping foals from the best bloodlines in Europe. Naturally strict criteria are applied where conformation, development, size and movements are concerned . But a handsome, well-developed and good moving foal from a mares line that has not produced any sport horses is not interesting from the point of view of the selection committee of NVP. To live up to our motto ‘the Power of Performance’ top-class genes from proven mares lines are essential.
National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag takes place every year on the third Tuesday in September. Some 80 showjumping and dressage foals, as well as an exclusive selection embryos are offered for sale on this fixed day.
